So much progress in so little time... Here is Fiona's first water start! I now need to heal my knee before she kicks my a$$...

I have been off for a month already due to a bad injury (sprained knee, strained shoulder and thighbone bruise). Those who know me well know how crazy I can be to get a nice picture... This time I am paying the price :-(

So I am teaching Fiona when she is not practicing gym, which is quite rare ;-)

After 3 body dragging sessions with her Cult 4.5m, she is now ready to try water-starting with a board. More coming soon...

Here is an onboard video of a nice wave-riding session at HMB with my dear friend Jean-Marc.

We already had a few storms this winter, meaning a few south wind rides in the harbor...

The wind was light but we had a blast playing with her Cult 4.5m at Half Moon Bay.

The season is not over yet! An other freestyle session at HMB in the bag for 2009...

That was a very rough November session on a cold and rainy day at Scott Creek. But the wind was blowing hard and the swell was quite large at times. And Dimitri came along to shoot some nice pictures while I was pushing myself with some unhooked wave-riding...

Lots of kiting but not so much posting... so here is a collage to summarize the last 2 months ;-)

2010 Naish Momentum 132*41: A dream come true! I love the board, period.  I am used to ride the 2009 Thorn FC 130 but this new momentum fits my style better. Wider and more flexible, this board gives me way more pop and a smother landing.

2010 Naish Cult: Better than the cult and Helix 2009! The new Cult 2010 is turning faster, has more power, a better pop, an increased glide and generate more pull in the turn than both the helix and the cult 2009. This new direct feel is much more like the Helix 2009 but with a better unhooked ability (kiteloop, railey etc.) and a cleaner bar feeling.
