:: Light Wind Day at 3rd

It was a light wind day at 3rd yesterday with my 12 Genetrix Hydra. A little bit too light for a 12, my swell 14 would have been a better choice. Anyway I tested the wind range of the hydra and I know the low limit of this kite now. At least it was sunny and warm and it felt very good to be back t the channel!

:: HYDRA forever...

hydra_orange.jpg

 Awesome session with my brand new Genetrix Hydra 9. This kite is the flattest kite on the market today (thanks to Martial) and has an amazing power and depower range. It is flying very well, turn as fast a a rocket, and is very powerful....And did I mention that I like the design?

:: The Genesis is coming soon...

The Genesis 2006 (Genetrix Kiteboarding bow kite 2nd generation) is coming very soon. Genetrix is a the only "Flat KIte" company on the market with a bow Kite (Genesis) and an advanced flat Kite (Hydra).

:: The NW wind is finally back!

Finally a great day at the beach. Sunny, warm and windy. At least 25 kites out there at 3rd... I was quite happy to ripe the bay with my 12 despite the flood! The season is on!

:: Dirt Windsurfing

When I was living in France, I have been doing a lot of Speedsailing. I loved speedsailing on the north coast of France (Berk, Le Touquet) for miles. It was easy, fun and really good when the wind was not blowing strong enough to let us windsurf on the water. It was also a good way to practice jibes and duck jibes.

But today, Dirt Windsurfing allows you to freestyle on dirt. It is awesome. I wish I could try this!
