:: Kiting with Daddy...
Silver Strands in Coronado (5 miles down San Diego) was the perfect spot to kitesurf with Fiona. We started with some kite steering on land and then headed to the beach for a body drag sensation into the waves...She had so much fun that she wanted to come with me on the board...
To be continued...

:: Kiting in San Diego...
What a treat! I was visiting San Diego and was lucky to kitesurf at Silver Strands (Coronado). Awesome beach, 90 degrees temperature, 67 degrees water, steady light wind, not crowded at all, and very nice locals.
South California kitesurfing rocks!

:: Not bad for mid October...
Not a bad session for mid October. I used my C-Kite Genetrix Swell 14 but should have been on my Genetrix Hydra 12 for 2 good reasons: the wind was strong enough and the flat kite is way much better and funnier...
Anyway I take a session like this in October any time!

:: So sweet...
The wind season is almost over and it is always a sad time knowing that we have to pack the gear for a few months...Ok ok, minus a few storm days during the winter...
But today was so sweet...As often in October, it was a mild sunny day with flat water and some light steady wind up in the air...Thanks to the strong ebbing tide, it was way enough to allow me to throw very nice s-bends, toe-side backrolls to revert, and more without loosing too much ground...
I just wish we could have a few days like this per week during the winter...
