I don't know what to say about Oostvoorne... It is ultra flat water at his best, 400 kites but with room for everybody, spot accessible only by 15 mn walk (or horses), beautiful sand everywhere, waist level water at max...  If it is not paradise for wakestyle freestyle, show me a better spot!

And what a strong steady wind!!! 4:30 hours sesh with Doudouke to eliminate the beers we had to drink the night before to help the Oranje supporting their soccer team against Russia...

Doudouke picked me at Amsterdam right after I arrived from San Francisco and we headed straight to Zandvoort, 17 km west of the "sin" city. We did a first crazy session from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM... Exhausted we ate some spare ribs at the beach restaurant... Awesome place on the beach where you can rest drinking some Westmale next to your gear... Then we did a second session from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM... It's always the same story with this dude, only the sunset stops our kiting sessions...

What a beautiful day in Ruben Lenten's backyards... and all this with 9 hours jet lag, 11 hours of flight and no sleep...

I was riding at 3rd Avenue amongst a few friends and the always smiling girl, Clarissa Hempel herself, when I saw Jim taking pictures in the water...
I first thought it was a private Cabrinha photo shoot for the fresh US Nationals champion and didn't want to steal the show

But then Jim asked me to jump over him... So here it is!

I dropped by Crissy Field yesterday on my way to the French-American Chamber of Commerce General Assembly to see and help a few friends competing for the US Nationals... What an unusual beautiful hot day for San Francisco...

Nice races and a few interesting bikinis...
