:: Mavericks was on today...
Mavericks was surprisingly breaking with huge 20 ft sets today. I was personally riding Dunes Beach alone for a while playing in sweet 5 ft swells with my 2009 helix 10.5 and global wave 6.0.
In the mean time I could watch Jeff Kafka??? riding Mavericks on his own. So when I figured out that the wind was solid enough, I finally got brave to check it out myself. I then went way outside (1.5 miles) and upwind (1 mile) to quickly check on THE WAVE. And it was simply HUGE!!!

:: My winter project...
With Claude's help, I finally finished my crazy project for my windless winter days... A high bar across my swimming pool to practice my handle pass in situ...
I was able to try it and got very close to nail my first one... But I've still got a lot of work to do... See you soon on the water :-)

:: It felt like spring...
It really felt like spring today at Dunes beach (HMB): 9m kiting day with warm weather, nice glassy swells, and only Jean-Marc and Ramsey to play with... I love my life!!!

:: HMB at its best...
Buttery and boosty... I had today my best flat water session at Half Moon Bay in years. The wind was steady strong and the water behind the levee was just freaking smooth... I did some old school mega jumps and wake style freestyle moves amongst friends in a mild rainy day... Just can't be better than that!
