Shopping for a new hull
I wanted to carry more sail,
so I looked at bigger hulls,
I like the pirate look of that one fitting my filibustered spirit
and it had a figure head
that I could name like Lolita
That one had way to much fin
I might settle on this racy one

Last weekend early trip to the Delta where Jerry was a very early bird....
who found his worm
and all kinds of flying animals
The Legend and Naish
That was my setup 4.7, 75L Pro Wave
and it was very sweet at Sugar Cove.
A small wind shadow,
but nice swells outside. I don't know about those Maui sails Legends, they attack them. Last time it was Antoine Albeau that I met coming out of the water, this time, it was the Legend himself
that I walked with.
Later on Jerry, a legend of a different type came up the path
.
Here he puts on the brakes
after tiring up the outside

The Cure for Wind…..
I see already where you're going ...... Don't even think about it.
South of the border.....Yeah!!! I heard you coming
I went further,
Venezuela,
but the wind was still marginal
So it was time to look for gear and this is what I've found
to cure my need for speed

Up and up and up….
The gusts kept increasing Tuesday, my Gaastra 4.5 was so flat it was hard to water stat, but once planning....yikes
Tough time for Tim after so little sleep. New baby Luke kept him up.

All aligned
This week it looked liked all the planets were aligned the right way to produce great wind and even a surprised move....

Mud shots
Last week with the low tide, mud was a sticky topic While Steve had his own private shooting
, I braved the sand bars, I counted 5 and enjoyed remaining ebb time. When I came back though I had to ‘pay' for all the swell rides as I came back
a little too low as you can see me pinching with my 4.0.

I crashed the Party
A few weeks ago...., it took a while to get the photos back from the lab
....too many celebrities
or design secrets
It was THE place to be, south shore, Kihei where the Starboard team
was doing a photo shoot.
They had all kinds of gear,
mostly freestyle.

And the answer is…..

He showed up late as the wind line was further away.
Nevertheless Bravo Tonio for 49.09 Mph....
