Back to April
I handed back the kite to her after helping April landing her 12. That's all I could do
in windier conditions too much for my 16m.
I became the traffic man launching and landing with envy.
But then she said: "Take my kite" ......I hesitated...
, ...even more when she said it's a 5 lines, but her smile convinced me to go.
So the Boxer and I did not even have a fight and I made it back to the launch with a huge smile
and a dry Boxer.
Thank you April you made my day.

One of the best Left Turn on the planet……
......or memorable Mini Mart landmark!!
It was rather windy so I rented some gear from Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks.
Looking back I should have rented the kayak
The 5.7 m sail looked big, but actually was not enough on the water when the wind faded. More on the rental later.
It was windier than on the picture but it felt that way for me. It was not the most exhilarating ride of my life but still pleasant considering the water temperature and the surroundings.
Not quite!
Although this is a beautiful beach.....

.....it is also a long one to walk
a big kite in hand
