Google has updated the satellite pictures. Here is a cut from the mosaic

Less snow
With the snow falling on the Sierra it reminded me of lack of it in early January in the Pyrenees'
Of Peyresourde pass, often taken during the Tour de France, Les Agudes side is part of the Peyragudes ski resort.
This is about 1and ½ hour south west of Toulouse, very close to Andorra. Actually we got stopped by the custom patrol checking for illegal tobacco trafficking! We did not take snow away either, no ice pick with us ;-)
The lifts and run were very long. With 100% snow coverage this resort would become huge in possibilities.
I was not impressed with the rentals and won't recommend that brand either (for icy conditions).
We stayed on 'ice', did not venture 'Hors Piste' but that was not for fear of avalanche

I can carve....Revisited
Still too early for the thermo winds, we went uphill to get carving feelings.
Truckee had plenty of sow and sunshine.

Collin did an amazing jobboarding and shooting close up at the same time, sometimes backwards.
