Poé beach is one of my favorite spot in New Caledonia.

There are few obvious reasons for that, its crystal clear water, white sandy beach, 17 Kms long... ho and yes, there is also the barrier reef that offers some decent wave riding sessions for kitesurfers!

I will add more pictures but in the meantime I will try to give you enough information for you to fully appreciate what this beach has to offer.

Poé is great for all levels, debutant to expert.

There is even a Kiteboarding school (http://www.poekiteschool.com/englishframe-2.htm) and everytime I spend a weekend or a day there I do stop for a nice coffee at their snack bar.

For all my sessions I only use 1 kite size and 1 or 2 boards:

I use it for winds between 15 to 30 knots... I haven't tried beyond that but I guess that a 9 m² would be more adequate passed 30 knots... héhéhé

After few years of kiteboarding in New Caledonia and Australia I thought it was the right time to share some of the past, present and future experiences...

Those 2 countries have wonderful spots for kiteboarding and this is a great opportunity for me to show you some of them.
